Students may enroll in one class, multiple classes, or a full day, depending on their interests and availability. We offer a rotating selection of enrichment options such as theatre,

mechanics, choir, design, cooking, baking, and more—giving students the opportunity to try new skills, discover passions, and build confidence in a low-pressure environment. Each class has its own age range, capacity, and pricing, allowing families to customize their experience. À La Carte Wednesdays are a perfect way for students to explore interests, connect with peers, and expand learning beyond the traditional classroom. Set Design

In this hands-on class, students will learn how to create stunning stage sets for our theatre productions. Taught by a professional muralist, students will explore large-scale painting techniques, design concepts, and creative construction while bringing the older students’ production to life through beautiful, immersive set designs.

Coffee Shop

In this hands-on business class, students will learn how a real business operates from start to finish. They will create a business plan, develop menus, price products, and present their proposal to a local coffee shop to secure donated coffee. Students will learn key financial concepts such as revenue, expenses, and profit — and after the planning phase, they will actually run the coffee shop for parents and at major school events throughout the semester.

This is a real earning opportunity, as students will split the profits among themselves. A returning favorite from last year, this class was brought back by popular demand and gives students practical, real-world entrepreneurial experience.

In this hands-on class, students will create and launch their own real working businesses from the ground up. They will learn how to register a business, open and manage a bank account, understand revenue, expenses, and how to set aside money for taxes. Students will also build their own websites and develop a clear plan for selling their product or service.

At the end of the semester, they will participate in a Business Fair where they will present and sell their offerings. Students are encouraged to continue growing their businesses beyond the class, turning their ideas into ongoing income-generating opportunities.

The REAL Game of Life

In this interactive, real-world simulation class, students will experience what it’s like to manage adult responsibilities. They will be assigned jobs, earn paychecks, create and balance budgets, and learn how to save and spend wisely. Along the way, they will purchase cars and homes while navigating unexpected “Life Happens” cards that simulate real-life financial situations. This class teaches practical money management, decision-making, and responsibility in a fun and engaging way.

Students will build confidence as they practice stitching, follow patterns, and create their own projects. In this extended, hands-on class, students will take their baking skills to the next level by working on more detailed and advanced recipes. They will practice precision measuring, timing, technique, and presentation while learning the science behind baking. This two-hour class allows for deeper instruction, more complex creations, and a stronger understanding of kitchen skills and responsibility.

In this hands-on class, students will learn how to create and run a successful podcast from an experienced podcaster. They will explore topic development, scripting, interviewing, recording techniques, editing basics, and how to build and grow an audience. Students will gain real-world media skills while developing confidence, creativity, and strong communication abilities.

In this class, students will explore a variety of sports throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to try new activities and discover what they enjoy. Each week will focus on a different sport while building teamwork, coordination, sportsmanship, and confidence in a fun and active environment.

In this class, students will develop their vocal skills, confidence, and stage presence through group singing and performance. Led by recording artist and Director of the Palm Beach Singers Choir, Terrion Nelson, students will learn proper vocal technique, harmony, and musical expression while preparing for live performances in a fun and encouraging environment.

In this creative design class, taught by an interior designer with 12 years of experience, students will learn the fundamentals of architectural planning by drawing one-story home floorplans to scale, including furniture placement and lighting design. They will then transform their plans into detailed 3D renderings, bringing their ideas to life while building creativity, precision, and real-world design skills.

In this hands-on class, students will learn about clean, non-toxic ingredients and how to use them to create natural products such as organic chapsticks, deodorants, and hand creams. They will explore safe, simple formulas while building practical skills and awareness about healthy, everyday products.

Led by Lorianne Porcelain, who has over 20 years of experience directing, creating, and acting in plays, this dynamic theatre program gives students hands-on experience in performance and production. Students will develop acting skills, stage presence, confidence, and teamwork while participating in full-scale productions. From rehearsals to live performances, they will grow creatively and gain real-world experience in the art of theatre.

In this hands-on class for older students, participants will develop more advanced kitchen skills while preparing detailed and multi-step recipes. They will focus on precision, timing, flavor development, and presentation while learning proper kitchen techniques and safety. This class builds confidence, independence, and real-world culinary skills in a structured and engaging environment.
